Margaret M. Breese (Vargo), 102, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025. Born on July 1, 1923, in Clinton, Indiana, Margaret lived a long, remarkable, and love-filled life.
She spent her early years in Dayton, Ohio, where she worked at NCR. During World War II, Margaret proudly contributed to the war effort by working on B-17 bomber planes and decoder machines—an experience she carried with deep pride throughout her life.
In the 1940s, Margaret moved to the North Brunswick area, where she later met the love of her life, John Breese. The two married in 1950 and built their family home on Church Lane in North Brunswick. During this time, she worked at Dupont Film Processing.
For the past 19 years, Margaret resided at the Paul Matacera Adult Community. She was an active and cherished member of the Parker House program, where she formed many close friendships. Margaret loved singing, sewing, reading, and completing crossword puzzles, but nothing brought her more joy than playing games with her family and friends.
Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband, John, who passed in 1990.
She is survived by her loving children: John W. Breese Jr. of North Brunswick; Marilyn Fairclough (Kingston) of Hillsborough; Stephanie Wolstromer (John) of Goochland, VA; Gary Breese of Pennsauken, NJ; and Barbara Rogers (Kevin) of Clark. She was a cherished grandmother of seven, a great-grandmother of twelve, with one more on the way.
Margaret’s legacy of strength, kindness, and devotion to her family will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
