Paul Clarence Lins of Old Bridge, NJ went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 24, 2024. He was 89 years old. Born in Milltown, NJ, Paul moved with his family to East Brunswick, NJ as a young boy. He attended church and Sunday school at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Paul graduated from Middlesex Vocational School in New Brunswick, NJ in 1954. Paul proudly served his country as a Postal Clerk in the Army in France in 1958 and 1959. He was a past member of the East Brunswick Fire Department in his younger days. He was a communicant and usher of Old Bridge Baptist Church. Paul loved the outdoors: hunting, crabbing, camping, and working in the yard. Paul was an employee of Grand Union Supermarket/Local 1262 in East Brunswick, Sayreville, and North Brunswick for over 40 years. He was a Lionel train enthusiast and worked diligently to build train villages and keep the trains running. Paul loved NASCAR and looked forward to watching the races each week where he could cheer his favorite drivers. He enjoyed listening to his old time country music and watching old western movies.
Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Edna Lins; his brother Ronald Lins; and his son Wayne Lins; Paul is survived by his beloved wife of over 60 years Audrey; daughter Debbie and “son” Robert Nemes; faithful companion “Coco”; and cousins Bruce, John, and Ruth.
Family and friends will be received Saturday 9:00am – 10:30am at the Bronson and McNamara Memorial Home of Milltown, NJ. The funeral service will be celebrated 10:30am at the funeral home followed by burial at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan, NJ.
